For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons with a minimum imprisonment of 3 years and a maximum of 15 years and a minimum fine of IDR 120 million and a maximum of IDR 600 million. In addition, it is threatened with sanctions under Article 12 of Law no. 12/2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years and/or a maximum fine of Rp1,000,000,000.00.
