North Aceh Police Joins Allegations Of Village Fund Corruption Of IDR 500 Million

ACEH - The Corruption Crime Unit III Investigation Team (Tipidkor) of the North Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit investigated allegations of corruption in village funds with indications of state losses reaching Rp500 million. Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Agus Riwayanto Diputra said the village funds were for the 2020 and 2021 fiscal years in Lhok Reudeup Village, Tanah Jambo Aye District, North Aceh Regency. "The indications of corruption that are being investigated include the construction of a number of two-fa houses, then the honorarium of village officials, and others. The indications of state losses reached Rp500 million," Agus Riwayanto said in Lhokseumawe, Banda Aceh, Antara, Monday, February 14. In investigating the case, Agus said, investigators had also physically checked four units of two-fa houses that were built using Lhok Reudeup Village funds. He said the physical inspection of the two-fa house was assisted by a team of experts from the Lhokseumawe City Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office. "We are still waiting for the results of the calculation of the lack of physical volume from the experts. We are also coordinating with the North Aceh District Inspectorate regarding the submission of an audit of state losses," said Agus Riwayanto.
