BENGKULU - The General Company Office of the Logistics Affairs Agency (Perum Bulog) Bengkulu Province asked traders not to mix rice on the Supply and Food Price Stabilization Program (SPHP). Manager SCPP Bulog Bengkulu Province Irfan Arfian said his party also asked and reminded traders not to sell SPHP rice above the High Retail Price (HET). "We remind traders not to make changes in packaging, let alone mix with other rice, thus affecting the quality of medium type rice that is the SPHP Program," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 14. He reminded the sale of rice which is the SPHP Program through our Food House outlets (RPK) to participate in supervision by the police. In addition, his party also encouraged the entire community in Bengkulu to help in monitoring the distribution of such SPHP types of rice. Meanwhile, the Bengkulu Provincial Government (Pemprov) ensures that the availability of rice in the community is sufficient until the religious celebration of Eid/Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah. The following rice availability at the Bengkulu Bulog Building is for medium-type rice as much as 521.65 tons, premium rice is around 12.61 tons, and currently as much as 3,328 tons of medium rice on the way to Bengkulu.

In addition to rice, the availability of other community needs is also available, such as flour around 7.88 tons and sugar, which is 40.04 tons. "With the availability of premium rice and medium, it is estimated that it will be sufficient for the people of Bengkulu to Idul Fitri," said Irfan.

Although currently the price of premium rice in Bengkulu has increased, such as for a size of 5 kilograms which was previously IDR 65 thousand to IDR 70 thousand. Then for the size of 20 kilograms of rice, which was previously IDR 260 thousand to IDR 270 thousand and for local rice, the Seginim type is 64 kilograms, which was previously IDR 580 thousand to IDR 700 thousand.
