Congratulations, Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto As Head Of Banten Police Replaces Inspector General Fiandar

JAKARTA - Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho is the Head of Banten Police, replacing Inspector General Fiandar, who was promoted to Head of the Legal Division of the Police.

The handover of the Banten Police Chief from Inspector General Fiandar to Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto attended by Banten Deputy Governor Andika Hazrumy took place at the Banten Regional Police Headquarters, in Serang City, Tuesday, January 5.

"For Pak Rudy, it is safe to lead the Banten Regional Police, and for Pak Fiandar to be safe serving as the Head of the Police Headquarters Division," said Andika after attending the handover ceremony.

Andika said the Banten Provincial Government is ready to forge a synergy with the former National Police Chief in leading the Banten Regional Police. Andika reminded that the people of Banten are well-known as a religious society with strong traditional nuances.

"So maybe the kamtibmas approach must also be based on the values of religiosity and tradition," said Andika.

Andika said he was confident that Inspector General Rudy could successfully carry out the task of leading the Banten Regional Police as well as possible. This, said Andika, refers to Rudy's relatively good track record during his career as a Police official.

"For his track record, which is a regional command, he has been tested when he served as Head of the Cimahi Police (West Java) and West Jakarta Police Chief. While at the National Police Headquarters, he held strategic positions," said Andika.

Meanwhile to Inspector General Fiandar, Andika on behalf of the people of Banten expressed his deep gratitude for Fiandar's work while leading the Banten Police.

According to Andika, Fiandar was relatively successful in carrying out his duties due to the relatively small amount of social and social turmoil in Banten during Fiandar's tenure.

"In fact, during his tenure, kamtibmas was quite volatile, starting from demonstrations of the Job Creation Law to incidents related to violations of the health program," said Andika.

Previously, National Police Chief General Idham Azis appointed Banten Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto to replace Inspector General Fiandar at the Rupatama building of the Police Headquarters on Jalan Trunojoyo, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 5 morning.
