The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that the proposal for the promotion of the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Karyoto and the Director of Investigation Endar Priantoro had nothing to do with the investigation of alleged corruption. This statement was made by the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, responding to the issue of the promotion proposal sent to the National Police regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in the implementation of the Formula E racing event. "This is a reasonable mechanism and we ensure that it is not related to the handling of cases at the KPK," Ali told reporters, Friday, February 10. Ali said that this promotion proposal was part of the career development of each civil servant employed (PNYD) at the KPK. "Including employees from the National Police element in the original agency," he said. Moreover, the handling of alleged corruption at the KPK cannot be done arbitrarily. There are procedural standards that must be followed, said Ali. "The process in this system cannot be influenced by the subjectivity of each individual or employee," he said.
