Circulating When Asked Who The Secretary Of DKI Jokowi's Choice, Acting Governor Heru: His Name Is Heru, Budi, Hartono

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono joked when asked about the candidate for the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary (Sekda) chosen by President Joko Widodo.

Currently, the names of the three candidates for the DKI Regional Secretary as a result of the selection process are in Jokowi's hands. One person chosen by Jokowi has not been revealed. Responding to this, Heru even mentioned his own name.

"The name (Jokowi's Regional Secretary) is three, Heru, Budi, and Hartono," said Heru with a small laugh at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta, Thursday, February 9.

Heru then tried to answer seriously. The head of the Presidential Secretariat admitted that he had not received any information from Jokowi regarding the name of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary. According to him, the process of determining the name will still be discussed at the State Palace.

"I don't know yet, it's still at the President's office. Later it will be discussed at the Palace. The Minister of Home Affairs has already sent (three names to be chosen by Jokowi)," he said.

Previously, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono had sent three names of candidates for the DKI Regional Secretary based on the results of an open selection of middle high leadership positions carried out by the selection committee.

These three names were sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to be forwarded to President Joko Widodo. Jokowi will choose one of the three ASN officials who passed the final stage of the selection.

In the Announcement Number 4 of 2023 which was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Suhajar Diantoro, as the chairman of the open selection committee for the DKI Regional Secretary, three names were mentioned who passed the auction for the position.

The three names are Joko Agus Setyono who is currently the Head of the Bali Province Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Dhany Sukma who is currently the Mayor of Central Jakarta, and Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata who is currently the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency.
