DKI DPRD Member Viani Limardi Losing Appeal, PSI Asked For PAW To Be Processed Immediately

PSI asked the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, to immediately process the interim replacement (PAW) to replace DKI Jakarta DPRD member Viani Limardi with other PSI cadres. Because, in the dismissal of PSI to Viani who was brought to justice, Viani's appeal was rejected by the DKI Jakarta High Court. "There have been two court decisions that confirm, the district court and the high court. Therefore, we ask for an interim replacement request (PAW) for Sis Viani to be implemented immediately," said PSI DPP chairman Isyana Bagoes Oka in a statement, Thursday, February 9. This appeal decision was handed down as of January 31, 2023. The DKI High Court upheld the decision of the Central Jakarta District Court. The Central Jakarta District Court issued an interim decision rejecting Viani Limardi's lawsuit demanding Rp1 trillion against PSI due to his dismissal as a party cadre. "The appeal decision has dropped. Its contents confirm the decision of the Central Jakarta District Court. Previously, the Central Jakarta District Court rejected Viani's lawsuit regarding her dismissal as a member of PSI," said Isyana. As is known, Viani has been fired from PSI cadres through a letter of dismissal issued as of September 25, 2021. As of October 14, 2021, PSI officially sent a letter of application for PSI members of the DKI DPRD. However, PAW has not yet been processed because Viani sued PSI to the Central Jakarta District Court as of October 19, 2021. This lawsuit was filed by Viani because she felt the reason for dismissing PSI was not true. Viani denied that she had inflated recess funds while being a member of the council. This accusation made him fired as a cadre. Until finally, the Central Jakarta District Court issued an interim decision rejecting Viani Limardi's lawsuit demanding Rp1 trillion against PSI due to his dismissal as a party cadre. In the interlocutory decision, PSI's absolute competency exception was accepted by the Central Jakarta District Court, taking into account the absence of initial evidence of dispute resolution through the Party Court by Viani as the plaintiff. Viani also filed an appeal as a further measure of resistance. Until finally, Viani's appeal was rejected by the DKI Jakarta High Court.
