Regarding Amendments To The Substance Of Judge Aswanto's Decision, Attorney For Curigai 2 Constitutional Court Judges

JAKARTA - A lawyer suspects two Constitutional Court (MK) judges regarding the change in the substance of case decision number 103/PUU-XX/2022 regarding the judicial review of the Constitutional Court Law which discussed the dismissal of Judge Aswanto.

"I convey to the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) that I suspect the names of two judges," said lawyer Zico Leonard Djajardo Simanjuntak in Jakarta, Thursday, February 9, as reported by Antara.

When asked who the names of the two Constitutional Court judges suspected of Zico were, he was reluctant to answer. Even though he only suspects the names of two judges, he still reports nine judges to the Court because they must still be questioned by the police.

To reporters, he explained the reasons for suspicion of the two judges of the Constitutional Court.

First, he said, if it was traced from the chronology of events, it happened in such a fast time or about 49 minutes. "With the chronology of the very fast time, there must be coordination, there is a mastermind," he said.

This means, continued Zico, there are perpetrators who do and some act as masterminds. On that basis, two names suspected of having been submitted to the Constitutional Court while still reporting them to the police.

When asked further about the reasons for Zico's suspicion of the two Constitutional Court judges, he said that both were considered the most likely to commit an act or act to change the substance of case decision number 103/PUU-XX/2022 regarding the judicial review of the Constitutional Court Law regarding the dismissal of Judge Aswanto.

"Those who have the most time and access compared to other judges to make changes," he said.

Zico explained that the access in question was referring to the alleged Constitutional Court judge who knew the employees when compared to other judges.

"He is a person who must be close to employees, so he can quickly do that ordering employees," he said.
