Firli Bahuri Pamer KPK, Who Succeeded In Restoring State Assets, Was IDR 575.74 Billion.

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri, showcased the success of his institution which was able to return state losses of IDR 575.74 billion during 2022. According to Firli, this achievement was higher than the previous year. Firli conveyed this during a meeting with Commission III of the DPR with the agenda of reporting the KPK's performance for 2022 at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, February 9.

"In 2022, the KPK has succeeded in returning state losses of IDR 575.74 billion. This figure is greater than last year, in 2021," said Firli.

Firli claimed, asset returns in 2021 were successfully achieved at IDR 416.96 billion. This figure, he said, was many times the target set at IDR 141.7 billion. He said, the asset return of state losses in 2021 increased by 294.25 percent.

"In 2021 (as large as) IDR 416 billion, this figure is more than many times the target set out in the national medium-term development plan, which is IDR 141.7 billion," said Firli.

In addition, Firli emphasized, the KPK will try to improve asset management to maintain economic value and implement PP 105 of 2021 concerning Auctions for Confiscation of the KPK.

"The return of assets resulting from criminal acts of corruption will be maximized if it is supported by strong regulations such as the law on confiscation of assets," said Firli.
