Investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office have again named a new suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU) providing 4G BTS towers at the Ministry of Communication and Information. The fifth suspect named is Irwan Hermawan (IH), as Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy. "Jampidsus investigators have named and detained one suspect, namely IH as Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana in a statement in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, February 7. Ketut explained that the suspect IH as Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy had violated the law together to conduct an evil consensus with the suspect Anang Achmad Latif (AAL) to condition the implementation of 4G BTS procurement at the BAKTI of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in such a way, thus directing certain providers who become winners in packages 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. As a result of his actions, the suspect IH was suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 as amended and supplemented by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code. "To speed up the investigation process, the suspect IH was detained at the Salemba State Detention Center, the Attorney General's Office for 20 days starting from February 6, 2023 to February 25, 2023," said Ketut. Previously, investigators had named four suspects, namely Anang Achmad Latif (AAL) as the President Director of BAKTI, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Gapol Menak (GMS) as the President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Yohan Suryanto (YS) as a Human Development (HUDEV) expert at the University of Indonesia in 2020 and Mukti Ali as a suspect from PT Huwaei Technology Investment.
