The Target Target Of The 79th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia Was Held At IKN, Head Of The Authority: 559 Days In The Day, For Us, There Are No Holidays

JAKARTA - Head of the State Capital Authority (IKN), Bambang Susantono, asked for prayers from members of Commission XI of the DPR so that they could celebrate the ceremony for the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in the new capital city, 559 days away.

"We ask for prayers and support so that this year we can really carry out the preparation program optimally and next year as the President wants, we will all have a ceremony at IKN on August 17, 2024, which will be carried out well," Bambang said in a Hearing Meeting with Commission XI of the DPR, in Jakarta, Monday 6 February reported by Antara.

Bambang said, on 559 days before August 17, 2024, his party always optimizes various work plans of the IKN Authority in 2023 so that they can carry out the mandate of Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital.

"Today is 559 days until August 17, 2024, every day it is reduced and there is no red date for us to carry out the mandate of the law that you / you have," he said.

Bambang further said that currently the IKN Authority already has a Budget Agency, but the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) from the Ministry of Finance has not been received. The IKN Authority submitted a budget of Rp. 650 billion and has been approved by the Ministry of Finance and for the first stage it has been given as much as Rp. 250 billion.

"We think as a new institution (budget) this is quite important for us not to last too long for this organization to run without DIPA. The budget may exist but the DIPA does not yet exist," he said.

For the 2023 work plan, the IKN Authority only has 2 programs, namely management support and strategic area development programs.

Bambang detailed that the management support program targets the formation of a credible and accountable organization, finance and BMN, as well as effective internal control and supervision.

Meanwhile, the targets of the strategic area development program are related to IKN's economic development and growth, management of investment funding and climate, management of the environment and natural resources to the digital ecosystem.

The IKN Authority has also formed 7 Deputys to ensure that the target of the strategic area development program can be achieved.

"The 7 deputies for 4P, namely preparation, development, transfer, and the last one is the administration of the government and the last 2 that the leadership said we would do starting next year even though we have to make preparations from now on," he said.
