Rain Complaints On The Audience Of The Dewa 19 Concert Regarding Shuttle Buses From JIS To The Parking Location, Jakpro Disrupts Responsibility To The Promotor

JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) has opened its voice regarding complaints from the audience at the Dewa 19 band concert at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Spectators are disappointed that it is difficult to get a shuttle bus or feeder bus from the stadium to the parking location.

During the concert, JIS did not provide a parking location in the stadium area. The audience must order their chest depending on the shuttle bus at the Convention Ancol and JIExpo.

VP Corporate Secretary of PT Jakpro Syachrial Syarif as the manager of JIS said that the complaint experienced by the audience at the Dewa 19 concert was not his responsibility.

He said the access to the concert audience's transportation to and from JIS and the parking location was not the Jakpro corridor. According to Syachrial, the provision and operation of shuttle buses is the responsibility of the promoter of the Dewa 19 concert, namely Redline Kreasindo.

"The provision of shuttle buses is arranged by the EO (promotor). I can't explain," said Syachrial when contacted, Monday, February 6.

Moreover, he continued, the previous promoter had also simulated the flow of arrivals and the return of concert spectators. This has also been consulted with the Polda Metro Jaya.

"They know the number of tickets. Time with the police is also clarified, confirmed. If the number of spectators is there, the shuttle bus is there. The police have warned," he said.

To follow up on this complaint, Syachrial said Jakpro would conduct an evaluation of the implementation with the promoter today.

The 30th Anniversary of Dewa 19 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, February 4 yesterday became an event that the audience could not forget. Behind the majestic appearance of Dewa 19 which was held at this international-class stadium, it turned out that there were many complaints.

Complaints from the audience of the 30-year-old Dewa 19 concert were widely expressed on social media. The most complaints from netizens are about the poor access to the mobility of visitors in and out of the stadium.

During the concert, a number of spectators who had tickets in the stands did not get seats to sit. The audience also complained about the poor quality of the sound system reaching the upper stands.

When the concert was finished on Sunday, February 5 at around 00.00 WIB, the audience began to leave the stadium. Given that there are no parking bags in the JIS area, there are other parking access in the Ancol area and JIExpo Kemayoran. To support access to these two parking locations, there is also a shuttle bus from JIS to the external parking location.

The problem is that the narrow road in front of JIS, Jalan Sunter Permai Raya and its surroundings make traffic jams unavoidable. The flow of vehicle traffic parked around the JIS area is stuck to get out of the area, including the shuttle bus that takes spectators to the parking location.

Spectators who tried to order online motorcycle taxis, instead of waiting for the arrival of the next shuttle bus, were also unsuccessful many times. Many of the audience also decided to walk a few kilometers from JIS and the external parking location.
