3 Methamphetamine Dealers In Kaltara Diringkus, 1 Restrictions On Police Life

North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Regional Police arrested three suspected methamphetamine dealers in Malinau Regency, Sunday, February 5. From the arrests, evidence of methamphetamine weighing one pocket and cash amounting to Rp. 400 thousand was confiscated.

"Of the three people arrested, one of them is a suspected drug dealer," said Malinau Police Chief AKBP Andreas Deddy Wijaya in a brief statement, Sunday, February 5, quoted by Antara.

Andreas explained, the chronology of the incident that occurred at 3.30 WITA by the Intel Resmob Company Team 4 Yon A Pioneer Polda Kaltara arrested two perpetrators of suspected criminal acts of methamphetamine in Gang Daeng Baka, Jalan AMD. That's when the team rushed to make arrests. When they wanted to be arrested, the perpetrator fought back and tried to escape.

The team immediately took action, with warning shots to the perpetrators, but was ignored and tried to hit a member of the Intel Resmob Team of the Kaltara Police using a motorbike.

As a result of the incident, Brigpol W was hit and at that time LH was also shot. From this incident, the intelligence team of the North Kalimantan Police immediately rushed the victim to Malinau Hospital and upon arrival at Malinau Hospital for handling the victim LH was declared dead.

Meanwhile, the results of drug disclosure by the Intel Resmob unit were handed over to the Malinau Police Narcotics Unit.

After the death of LH, dozens of people came to the Tarakan Police Headquarters asking for an explanation for the death of the LH victim.
