Disdik Sleman Disputan Eduran Pencegahan Penculikan Anak, Bupati Minta Sekolah Mengadapkan Ke Pupil

DIY - Sleman Regent Kustini Sri Purnomo asked schools to pay attention to and implement a circular (SE) issued by the Sleman Regency Education Office (Disdik) regarding prevention of child kidnapping cases.

SE tentang Peningkatan Kewaspadaan pada Pencegahan Kasus Penculikan Anak kepada pengelola Pendidikan Anak Muda Dini (PAUD), Sekolah SD (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Sleman itu baru saja diterbitkan.

"Disdik has made a circular and there are points that the school is paying attention to. We hope that the incident can be prevented because of the supervision at the school, we ask to improve," said Kustini in Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), Thursday, February 2, as reported by Antara.

Kustini also asked parents not to panic excessively even though the issue of kidnapping school-age children in the country is increasingly rampant.

He said, to avoid kidnapping cases, parents should pick them up when they were going home from school and offer their own provisions from home so they wouldn't snack outside the school environment.

"Parents also have to warned their children not to accept gifts from unknown people, whatever the form," he said.

Regarding the widespread news of kidnappings in several areas in a number of social media, Kustini will establish communication with the police.

"We will intensify communication with the police. Because the Sleman area is also wide. Of course, the role of the police will be very helpful in helping to provide education to the community so as not to be provoked by issues or events that are currently developing," he said.

Sebelumnya beredar di sejumlah media sosial mengenai kejadian penculikan anak siswa sekolah dasar (SD) di daerah Kelurahan Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman dan menjadi ramai dibincangkan di kalangan pacara siswa.
