Affirm The Form Of Agreement When Anies Advances The 2017 DKI Gubernatorial Election, Gerindra: Regarding Not Advanced As President Does Exist

JAKARTA - Member of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Party DPP Andre Rosiade confirmed that there was a signed agreement between Prabowo Subianto, Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno. According to him, the contents of the agreement are about nominations in the 2024 presidential election.

Sandi made the agreement recently. The deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees said the agreement was still in effect because there was no mutual agreement to end it.

"Regarding the agreement not to run as president, it does exist. And Mr. Sandi feels that the agreement is still valid until now," Andrea wrote on her Twitter account, @andre_rosiade, Wednesday, January 1.

Therefore, he said, Sandi expressed his full support for the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, in the 2024 presidential election.

However, Andre said Gerindra did not try to urge the parties involved in the political agreement to carry out the agreement.

He said Gerindra left it entirely to the ethics and morals of a leader whether his words could be held and the public could judge it themselves.

"And Bang Sandi supports Pak Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election. That is what he emphasized as one of the parties who signed the agreement," said the member of the DPR from the Gerindra faction.

Andre emphasized that currently Gerindra should focus on winning Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election. He said party steps are currently conducting socialization to increase Prabowo's electability.

"The Gerindra Party is currently focusing on winning Mr. Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election. Don't want to bring up the past. Because Pak Prabowo has told us, there is no need to bring up past services," he said.

Previously, the Gerindra Party rejected the statement by a member of the Small Team of the Change Coalition, Sudirman Said, who said there was no political agreement between Prabowo, Anies and Sandi in the past.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the political agreement between Prabowo and Anies was carried out ahead of the 2017 DKI gubernatorial election registration.

However, he said, the political agreement was not for public consumption.

"So actually it is like this that if someone says that the agreement does not exist, for example, that person may not know. Why? Because so far what is called an internal agreement, we are not exposed to the public and it is not for public consumption," said Dasco in his statement, Thursday, January 31st.

Dasco explained that the agreement existed and was written by the Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Fadli Zon. "What is certain is that it was written by Mr. Fadli, the goods are now in me," he said.
