West Java Police: Infidelity Kompol D Can't Be Associated With A Selvi Student Accident

The West Java Regional Police (Polda) stated that they had not linked the scandal of the affair between Kompol D in the investigation of the accident case in Cianjur Regency, West Java, which caused the death of a student named Selvi Amalia Nuraini. Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said that his party was still focused on investigating the accident with the parties involved. Among other things, he said, establishing an Audi car driver named Sugeng Gumuruh as a suspect. "We are only focused on accidents (accidents), there is no information about Kompol D," Ibrahim said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 31.

In that case, according to him, so far only Sugeng has been named a suspect for allegedly being negligent in driving based on the Road Traffic and Transportation Law (LLAJ). "The negligence that caused the accident was only on the driver or driver of the Audi A6 vehicle," he said. In addition to Sugeng as a driver, the Audi A6 car was also boarded by a woman with the initials N who claimed to be the wife of a police officer. However, Polda Metro Jaya stated that N is a woman who has a special relationship with Kompol D. The middle officer is a member of the police who served at Polda Metro Jaya.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko explained that the scandal between Kompol D and N was a violation based on the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission. Now Kompol D has been sanctioned with a special placement (patsus) for 21 days at Polda Metro Jaya. "Compol D has been in a special relationship for approximately eight months, since April 2022," said Trunoyudo.
