Aksi Upaya Penculikan Warga Cakung, Polisi Belum Terima Laporan

JAKARTA - The alleged kidnapping attempt took place on Jalan Raya Cakung Station, Pulogebang, East Jakarta. Based on information obtained from local residents, the attempted kidnapping was carried out by an old woman wearing a headscarf. It is suspected that the perpetrators were not alone, they used a red minibus.

"Suddenly the red car stopped beside him, (the victim) was asked 'de, come here with the mother, the mother (the child-ed woman) is at the mother's house'. Then (the perpetrator) immediately ran away," said Abi, one of the residents who reported it, Thursday, January 26.

The news immediately spread to a number of Cakung residents, not far from the gas station near the flyover of the East Jakarta Mayor's office.

Shortly thereafter, an audio recording of a woman claiming to be the parent of the child was obtained.

"Earlier, when my son came home from school. Nizar and Hilan, almost the incident when a red car stopped in front of my son. Fortunately, it was opened, fortunately, my brother in front of the workshop was approached and the person immediately fled," said one of the residents.

The woman on the voice recording appealed to parents who have small children who are still in school to always be vigilant. Because according to him, child kidnapping is currently rampant.

"Because my son almost happened, I just told him so his parents had to be vigilant," he said.

Sementara menanggapi informasi dugaan penculikan itu, Polsek Cakung belum mendapatkan informasi kejadian itu.

Cakung Police Chief Kompol Syarifah Chaira stated that the kidnapping incident did not occur in the Cakung area.

"No one has reported yet. It has been checked, there is no such incident at that location," he told VOI, Thursday, January 26.
