Regarding Looking For Harun Masiku's Location, The KPK Selects A Strategy To Move In Silence

JAKARTA - The KPK has confirmed that the search for former legislative candidate Harun Masiku, who is still at large, continues. However, they do not want to talk much about this search.

"When it comes to DPOs, don't spread (the search, ed)," said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Karyoto to reporters, Thursday, January 26.

Karyoto ensured that the pursuit of the suspect who gave the bribe to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan was still being carried out. Various efforts continue to be made, including collaborating with the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to take precautions abroad.

"God willing, we are still looking for it," he said.

Previously, the KPK had arrested and detained the former Commander of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM), Izil Azhar. The suspect in receiving gratuities was arrested in Banda Aceh on Tuesday, January 24 and detained the day after.

After Izil was arrested, there were still four fugitives who continued to be pursued by the anti-corruption commission. The first is Kirana Kotama, who has been wanted since 2017 for alleged bribery for filing a revision of the forest function in Riau Province in 2014 to the Ministry of Forestry.

Second, Paulus Tannos, who stumbled upon a case of alleged corruption in the procurement of an Electronic Identity Card (e-KTP). He is currently in Singapore.

Furthermore, former candidate Harun Masiku is also still at large. The suspect who gave bribes to former General Elections Commission (KPU) Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan is still unknown.

Finally, the Regent of Central Mamberamo Ricky Ham Pagawak. He was involved in the alleged bribery case for project sharing in his area.
