JAKARTA - The chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, responded to the statement by the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who revealed that Kaesang Pangarep was interested in entering politics. Mardani proposed a special rule for the president's core family who had a career on the political route. According to him, there must be a prohibition that the president's core family should be nominated as a public official for the principle of justice. "It is good for the president's core family to be nominated for public positions that use a public election mechanism so that the system runs and is fair for everyone," said Mardani, Wednesday, January 25 The member of Commission II of the DPR admitted that all the nation's children have the same right to choose and be elected in the context of democracy. Mardani also welcomed Kaesang's wish to have a career on the political path. "Everyone has the rights, nominating and being nominated. It's good for politics if young people enter politics," he said. However, the principle of justice must still be applied. Because it is different from other youths, said Mardani, Kaesang has the privilege as the president's son.
