Police Arrest Mobile Thief Driver Ojol In Makassar Whose Video Is Viral

MAKASSAR - Police have arrested the perpetrator of the theft of a cellphone recorded by CCTV at a gas station, Jalan Gunung Bawakaraeng, Makassar. This theft video was spread on social media some time ago.

Head of Makassar Sub-Section for Public Relations of the Makassar Police, Supriady Idrus, said that there were 2 people who thieved the handphone, the ojol driver. The other two are stolen cellphone holders. The four perpetrators who were arrested by the perpetrators were 4 with the initials, M, S, I, Ak.

The police explained that the perpetrators Ak and M had first refilled fuel at a gas station. Ak approached the victim's motorbike then took the cellphone that was stored on the victim's motorbike dashboard. Meanwhile, the two perpetrators, S and I, were the victims' cellphones.

After carrying out the action, the perpetrators Ak and M immediately sold the stolen goods on Jalan Cendrawasih, Makassar City to the collectors who were also arrested.

"There is also a type of cellphone that has been stolen, namely the black Samsung J7 Core," said Kompol Supriady Idrus, to VOI, Wednesday, December 30.
