Wowon Considered Duloh And Dede As Sakral And Sakti Banyu's 'Aki'

JAKARTA - One of the suspects in a serial murder, Wowon Erawan is suspected of having created himself a fictitious figure named 'Aki Banyu' to give orders to kill the victims. "It turns out that one of the suspects, Wowon, played the role of 'Aki Banyu'," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation (Direskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol. Hengki Haryadi in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 24, as reported by Antara.

The figure of 'Aki Banyu' is a fictitious figure who is considered sacred and magical by Duloh and Dede thanks to Wowon's influence.

During the murder, Duloh and Dede only received orders from 'Aki Banyu' by telephone.

"When we made the arrest, the cellphone in the name of 'Aki Banyu' was apparently held by Wowon," explained Hengki.

Hengki added that the two suspects believed that they were communicating with Aki Banyu from his voice. "Wow, this profession is the mastermind so that his voice can change, so Duloh and Dede believe that it is Aki Banyu," explained Hengki.

Previously, the police had arrested three suspects in serial murder in Cianjur-Bekasi, namely Wowon Erawan alias Aki (60), Solihin alias Duloh (63), and Dede Solehudin (35) in Cianjur on Tuesday (17/1).

According to the suspect's confession, there were nine deaths at different crime scenes (TKP), three bodies in Bekasi, four bodies in Cianjur and two bodies in Garut.

The suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 338, 339 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for life or the death penalty.
