13 People Injured By Accident In Anai Valley

JAKARTA - As many as 13 people were injured due to consecutive accidents in the Anai Air Mancur Valley area of Tanah Datar Regency, Wednesday, December 30.

"So far there has been no casualty from the incident," said Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Satake Bayu in Padang.

He said the accident involved 10 vehicles on the road. The accident started with the Tronton Hino BK 9991 XA vehicle coming from the direction of Padang Panjang to the city of Padang and suffered a failed brake.

This car drove and hit the BK minibus 1875 YR and hit other vehicles, namely the BA 1484 IH minibus, the BM 1770 JZ minibus.

Then minibus BA 7079 SU, minibus BM 1210 PG, minibus BM 1169 YM. After that the BA 1670 ME minibus and BE 1607 KM minibus.

"The recorded loss was Rp. 500 million. The officers immediately processed the scene of the case, evacuated and took witness testimony," said Satake.

He said that until now there is still one car in the river and has not been evacuated.

"The victim has been rushed to Yarsi Hospital, Padang Panjang City," he said.
