According to the Deputy Head, the incident with flight number PK-SMS piloted by Capt Alex Agatha and Copilot Desly Putut carrying 11 passengers from Mimika to Beoga occurred at around 07.30 WIT.

He explained that when he was at an altitude of 10 nautical miles before Beoga, the pilot made contact with the plane which was temporarily parked at Beoga Airport.
