PKB Please Meet Cak Imin-Prabowo At The Inauguration Of The Sekber Resulting The Name Of The Presidential Candidate-Cawapres

JAKARTA - General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto and PKB chairman Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin will meet face-to-face at the inauguration of the Gerindra-PKB Joint Secretariat (Sekber) this morning. Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of PKB Syaiful Huda, hopes that the meeting of the two ketums on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Secretary can produce agreements regarding the presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024.

"Cak Imin and Pak Bowo are scheduled to chat privately on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Gerindra-PKB Secretary (today). We hope that the meeting of the two party leaders will provide advanced results related to Gerindra-PKB political cooperation in the 2024 election," Huda said in his statement, Monday, January 23.

Huda revealed that so far Gerindra and PKB have continued to communicate intensively related to the coalition since the 2024 political cooperation was agreed in August. Until now, he said, the only agreement that has not been reached is the determination of the presidential and vice presidential candidates.

The chairman of Commission X of the DPR also hopes that in the one-on-one discussion between Cak Imin and Prabowo, there will be an agreement regarding the presidential and vice-presidential candidates carried out in the 2024 presidential election. Thus, according to Huda, various steps to win the Gerindra-PKB coalition can be carried out immediately.

"We hope that as soon as possible the two party leaders will agree on the figures of the Gerindra-PKB presidential and vice presidential candidates so that winning steps can be drawn up and implemented as soon as possible," he said.

Huda added that during the inauguration ceremony, there would also be a delivery of the results of ijtima' the Nusantara cleric which was held by the PKB Shura Council to the Gerindra.

Huda said the results of the ijtima of the scholars were important because they contained several mandates from the kiai regarding the implementation of the 2024 presidential election.

"The results of the Ijtima Ulama are important to convey to Gerindra's friends because the mandate of the kiai and ulama is important as a guide for PKB's steps in the 2024 General Election, especially for presidential elections," he concluded. It is known that Gerindra chairman Prabowo Subianto and PKB chairman Muhaimin Iskandar will inaugurate the Gerindra-PKB Joint Secretariat (Sekber) on Ki Mangunsarkoro Street Number 1, Menteng, Central Jakarta, today, Monday, January 23. The inauguration of the Secretary's office for the 2024 election victory which is only 800 meters adrift of the General Election Commission (KPU) office is scheduled to take place at 09.00 WIB, or 9 am.
