Good News For Makassar Residents Who Want To Make An ID Card, Blangko Now Available

JAKARTA - The supply of blank ID cards in Makassar, South Sulawesi, which had run out, is now available again. Residents who want to make ID cards can now breathe a sigh of relief.

Previously, at the end of 2022, the Makassar City Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) only gave a temporary certificate to residents who wanted to make ID cards.

"For this year it is available, it is safe. Residents who will arrange ID cards can come directly," said Makassar City Disdukcapil Head Muhammad Hatim, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, January 21.

He said the blank ID cards for 2023 had been distributed by the central government in early January.

The number of blanks distributed by the central government as much as 10,000 is said to be sufficient for the beginning of the year or if the stock is still available.

"God willing, it will be enough for the beginning of this year. Later we will see 10,000 pieces of blanks, enough for how many months," he said.

Hatim explained that residents of Makassar or who have entered the age of 17 years of age and will take care of population data can go directly to Disdukcapil.

Likewise, residents who lose their ID cards or are damaged and want to make new ones, can take care of them to the Disdukcapil.
