Ancol Wants To Free Tickets Enter Once A Month

JAKARTA - President Director (Director) of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Winarto plans to free access to the Ancol tourist area, North Jakarta, for once a month.

This was conveyed by Winarso during a working meeting of his board of directors with Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"We will have the opportunity for the community to enter. Maybe once a month we will release visitors," said Winarso at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday, January 19.

So far, Ancol ticket disbursement is only done once a year, namely every Jakarta's birthday on June 22. Winarso said that in the future there will be one day, especially holidays or holidays, which are determined as the date for the declaration of Ancol entrance tickets per month

"For example, if it's not December, the theme is Christmas, January there is Chinese New Year, fasting also exists, Eid also exists. Well, on that celebrated date we will free it," he said.

Winarto said that his party would first conduct a study until the trial was finally implemented permanently. The Ancol ticket disbursement trial will begin this year.

Furthermore, Winarto explained that the reason he planned the inclusion of Ancol once a month was to see how much Ancol's income was from the expenditure of visitors outside of the entrance ticket.

"Goalnya kita mendapat data berapa yang masuk, berapa yang spending (menelesaikan uang) di dalam Ancol. Itu harus dikaji berkali-kali dikumpulkan datanya. Nanti harus ditutup dengan income itu agar tidak turun," jelasnya.

Currently, the Ancol area operates until 24.00 WIB. This operating hour is extended from the previous one until 22.00 WIB. This extension of operational time is carried out to provide opportunities for visitors to be able to enjoy their tourist areas longer.

However, the location that is still operating until midnight is only in the Ancol park and beach area. This location can be used by visitors for recreation to exercise.

Meanwhile, a number of restaurants in the Ancol area are open until 23.00 WIB, including The Pier, Bandar Djakarta, Hoax Cafe, Resto Sea Wave, Segarra, Walking Drums, and Jimbaran Resto.
