JAKARTA - The wife of the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe, Yulce Wenda, remained silent after being questioned by KPK investigators. Yulce did not make any statement after being questioned this morning, Wednesday, January 18.

Lukas Enembe's son, Astract Bona Timoramo Enembe, also did not say a word. Compact with his mother, he immediately rushed out of the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, Jakarta.

In the examination schedule issued by the KPK, Yulce and Astract were examined as witnesses for Lukas Enembe. Apart from them, another witness was examined, namely a private company named Yonater Karomba.

Regarding this examination, the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, said he would investigate the alleged bribery and gratuities received by Lukas. Including, the way he manages the money he receives.

"From every witness who is then summoned by the investigative team, whoever the witnesses are, the team will carry out an in-depth investigation regarding the process of alleged giving, receiving money, and using money," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

Not only that, investigators will also investigate Yulce's role as the wife of Lukas. However, Ali did not want to elaborate further on this matter.

As previously reported, Lukas was detained after he was named a suspect in the alleged bribery and gratification of project procurement in the Papua Provincial Government. During his detention, he appeared to be wearing a wheelchair.

In this case, Lukas Enembe is suspected of receiving money from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijantono Lakka, so that the company gets a project. It is suspected that this collusion was also carried out with officials in the Papua Provincial Government.

After the project was won, Rijantono handed over Rp1 billion to Lukas. In addition, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to billions of rupiah.
