YOGYAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Special Region Government is targeting the construction of a detailed engineering design (DED) for the construction of the Jogja Planning Gallery (JPG) building in the Malioboro area, Yogyakarta City to be completed in 2023. "In 2023, we will make the DED. The basic design already exists, so the DED preparation process can be carried out immediately, with a target of one year," said Head of the DIY Public Works, Housing and Energy Mineral Resources (PUP-ESDM) Anna Rina Herbalanti at the Kepatihan Complex, Yogyakarta, Antara, Monday, January 16. Anna said to determine the JPG concept or design, the DIY Regional Government will combine designs made by the three winners of the competition in 2022. JPG will later occupy the cultural heritage building of the former DIY DPRD Building, Teras Malioboro 2 land, as well as the former shopping area on Jalan Representative so that the total land area reaches 25,400 square meters. Regarding the transfer of trading activities on Jalan Representative which will later serve as the entrance to the JPG, according to him, it is confirmed that everything has been completed.
