"So far there has been no official letter from the health workers who have been submitted to the Commission regarding their complaints," said deputy chairman of Commission IV of the Maluku DPRD, Rofik Akbar Afifudin in Ambon, Maluku, Monday, January 16, as reported by Antara.

COVID-19 2021 services should have been disbursed at the end of 2021 or early 2022, while COVID-19 incentives for medical personnel should be received every end of the month.

However, health workers who serve COVID-19 patients at dr. M. Haulussy Hospital Ambon, apart from not receiving the payment of COVID-19 services in 2021, the COVID-19 incentives for the last two to three months of 2022 have also not been paid.

In addition, a number of COVID-19 volunteers from the LPMP Alternative Hospital and the Maluku BPPP also admitted that the 2021 COVID-1 service claim fund had not been paid through the Ambon RSAL Empowerment Hospital, so they made an open letter to the provincial government in the form of billboards and displayed on the highway.

According to him, the rights of health workers who serve COVID-19 patients in 2020 that are not paid should not be repeated in 2021.

"If there is a letter of complaint or a complaint from the health worker to the DPRD, we will immediately respond to it by summoning the provincial Health Service together with hospital management," said Rofiq.

The number of COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at dr. M. Haulussy Hospital Ambon during 2021 has almost reached 350 people but medical personnel have not received payment for COVID-19 services.
