JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) training ground, Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. Anies inaugurated virtually because he was still doing independent isolation.
"Today, Monday, December 28, 2020, the Jakarta International Stadium training field is officially declared open and in use," Anies said virtually, Monday, December 28.
Anies admits that he is grateful that the 165x56 meter training field will soon be usable. Because, according to him, this field boasts the capital city with international quality.
"God willing, this training field will really become a place to practice which makes the players accustomed to international quality fields," said Anies.
Not only that, Anies said that the grass installed in the training field was a hybrid, namely a combination of natural and synthetic grass. In addition, field maintenance already refers to the green building concept.
In its maintenance, lawn care will not use pesticides. PT Jakpro as the manager uses spinach leg birds which are able to eradicate pests, caterpillars and insects on grass.
"So, the green concept not only appears in the color of the field, but the green concept appears in daily care," said the former Minister of Education and Culture.
Anies advised all parties who would use this training field to maintain care and manage the field with discipline. Given, the construction of this field requires a large budget.
"Let us show that we can indeed manage it with discipline. So that the result of this international class development after years of use it does not decline in class, hopefully it will increase its class," he said.
Meanwhile, the President Director of PT JakPro Dwi Wahyu Daryoto said that this training field will be used two months later because there are still preparations that must be done before the soccer players graze on this training field.
Dwi said, all communities in the Indonesian Football Association could use this training field by arranging a schedule before training. However, there will be rental fees charged to the community.
"As managers, we don't want to burden the government budget. So that there is a commercial context, in the form of sponsorships or fees that will use the training field. There is a field rental," he concluded.
