"The Pushidrosal team has left for Tanimbar to check the phenomenon of the emergence of a new island in Teinaman Village," said Acting KKT Regent Daniel Indey in Ambon, Maluku, Thursday, January 12, as reported by Antara.

He said the team would check the impact of the emergence of a new island, as well as provide information to the people in Teineman village so that people are not afraid of this phenomenon.

"We will jointly provide information to the public, so that people feel safe," he said.

Daniel stated that the material from the new island was in the form of stones and mixed with black mud.

"So far there has been no prohibition for residents who will approach the new island, because people are away because they are reluctant and still see this as a natural phenomenon," he said.

Meanwhile, after the emergence of a new island, the residents of Teinaman Village, Tanimbar District north of Tanimbar Islands Regency returned to their respective homes.

"Since this morning I have appealed to people who have fled to return to their homes, now residents are returning to take the goods brought to the evacuation site," said Teinaman Village Head Bony Kelmaskossu.

He stated that his party had reported the phenomenon of a new island to the Tanimbar Islands Regency Government, but so far no one has come to see the phenomenon that occurs in Teinaman Village.

"We hope that in the near future the local government or team will come to our village to examine the phenomenon of this new island, so that people don't worry," he said.
