The National Police Are Investigating Allegations Of The Connection Of Lukas Enembe With The Suspect Of Ownership Of Firearms Anton Gaboy

JAKARTA - The National Police will investigate the alleged relationship between Papua Governor Lukas Enembe and the suspect in possession of dozens of firearms (senpi) Anton Gaboy (29).

Meanwhile, the suspicion emerged after a photo circulated on social media showing Anton Gaboy and other pilots taking pictures with Lukas Enembe.

In the photo, Anton Gaboy and Lukas Enembe appear to be in command greetings.

"The relationship is being investigated," said Head of the Hubinter Police Division Inspector General Krishna Murti when confirmed, Wednesday, January 11.

So far, based on the results of coordination with the Philippine authorities, the senpi confiscated from Anton Gaboy will go to the Papua Armed Criminal Group (KKB).

"AG admits that it will bring him to Papua to support the activities of the Papuan organization. Yes, KKB," he said.

In addition, Anton Gaboy was able to get the firearm by buying from someone in the Danao City area, Cebu Province, Philippines.

However, the identity of the illegal gun seller is not yet known. Thus, Anton Gaboy is still being investigated intensively for development purposes.

"Ten M4 caliber long-barreled rifles (5.56) worth 50,000 Peso, without ammunition, two Ingram (9mm) short-barreled rifles worth 45,000 Peso without ammunition," Krishna said.

Anton Gobay is a pilot. He was arrested in an area about 2 hours away from Manila, on Saturday, January 7.

Anton Gobay was arrested along with two Filipino citizens, Michael Tino and Jimmy Desales Abolde. He has seen cases of illegal possession of firearms.
