Sleeping Receptionist, 12 Year Old Boy Steals Tens Of Millions From Makassar Hotel

MAKASSAR - A 12-year-old boy carried out a reckless action in Makassar. This boy stole Rp.13 million in cash at the Grand Town Hotel, Jalan Pengayoman, Panakkukang, Makassar.

The act of theft was recorded on the hotel CCTV camera. The video of the boy's theft was spread on social media. The hotel reported this theft to the police.

"Not long after that, one of the members received information that the perpetrator of the theft at the Grand Town Hotel was on Jalan Pengayoman in front of Pasar Segar," said Head of Public Relations of the Panakkukang Police, Bripka Ahmad Halim, contacted by VOI, Sunday, December 27.

The perpetrator was immediately arrested by the police. From the interrogation, this boy admitted that he had brought tens of millions of rupiah from theft.

This boy entered the hotel when conditions were quiet. Peaku walks up to the reception desk and jumps over it. At that time no one was guarding the reception desk.

The perpetrator then took the money from the drawer. Then take off with the plan to be used for personal pleasure.

"Currently the perpetrator and evidence have been secured at the police headquarters for further investigation," said Bripka Ahmad.
