West Java Provincial Government Ensures Rp100,000 Cash Bansos Completed Distributed 30 December

JAKARTA - The West Java Provincial Government is targeting the distribution of stage IV social assistance in the form of cash to be completed on Wednesday, December 30.

That means, 1,903,303 target households (KRTS) will have received cash assistance for the fourth year before the end of 2020.

Head of the West Java Province Social Service (Dinsos), Dodo Suhendar, said there were a number of adjustments in stage IV of social assistance. One of them is the amount of social assistance value of IDR 100,000 in cash.

"The distribution of social assistance phase IV is carried out by PT Pos Indonesia, Bank BJB and Bank Mandiri. With the involvement of the banking sector, it is hoped that the distribution of social assistance can be accelerated to the public," said Dodo in his statement on Sunday, December 27.

Dodo explained, in distribution, his party involved sub-districts / villages. Sub-districts / villages can also invite the head of the local community unit (RW) so that the distribution of stage IV social assistance is faster.

As proof, the recipient of the social assistance must be photographed with an identity card. If the recipient is sick or cannot come to the kelurahan / village office, they can be represented by carrying a family card.

He said that sub-districts / villages can distribute directly to residents' homes and hold centralized distributions while still applying 3M's health protocol, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap.

"If the distribution is distributed in sub-district / village offices, the distribution can be per RW, with the schedule and desk officers can be multiplied to avoid crowds," he said.

Furthermore, Dodo claimed that the data on cash assistance receipts for stage IV was increasingly accurate. This is because the West Java Provincial Government carries the principle of prudence in collecting data on social assistance recipients.

West Java Province is also coordinating with a number of parties in collecting data on social assistance recipients. One of them is the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

"This can be seen in the percentage of successful handover of stage III social assistance which is almost 100 percent. Of the 1.9 million KRTS recipients of social assistance, only about 5,580 packages or 0.3 percent failed to deliver," he added.
