SAMARINDA - Commission IV of the East Kalimantan DPRD evaluated the performance of the Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Regional General Hospital in Samarinda regarding the findings of using a budget of IDR 3.3 billion in the Audit Result Report of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Member of Commission IV of the East Kalimantan DPRD, Rusman Ya'qub, said that the evaluation discussed the 2022 BPK LHP which found an overpayment of IDR 3.3 billion from the procurement of drugs and consumables. "In connection with the BPK LHP related to the findings of Rp3.3 billion at the AWS Hospital so that it does not become a wild ball, Commission IV requires information on what actually happened," Rusman said in his statement in Samarinda, Antara, Sunday, January 8. According to him, there are problems of non-compliance with the aspect of work implementation that have a significant impact on spending management, namely the procurement of drugs and medical devices that are not in accordance with the provisions of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government's hospital. Rusman explained that the BPK gave the management of the AWS Hospital 60 days to be able to clarify and complete these findings. "Currently, the process is still in the process of being supported. That's why we give space to the management of the AWS Hospital to clarify and refute," he added. He added that the East Kalimantan DPRD did not want public trust in the management of the AWS Hospital to decline due to the BPK's findings. "This is an evaluation for the hospital to be careful in managing the budget," he said. Meanwhile, the Director of AWS Samarinda Hospital, dr. David Hariadi Masjhoer stated that his party had maximized the time given by the BPK to straighten out the findings of the 2022 LHP. "The 60 days until the fourth week of February, I hope everything is done," he explained. David said there was a miscalculation by the vendor as a third party. However, it has carried out internal coordination and also with third parties to solve the overpayment problem. "So, there was indeed a calculation error. The vendor entered the value not according to the item which later became the finding," explained David. He added that the vendor had confirmed if there was a miscalculation and his party had coordinated with the vendor to return the overpayment.
