JAKARTA - The Regent of Ciamis, Herdiat Sunarya, reminded all state civil servants (ASN) in the area to be strictly reprimanded by the public when providing public services. If caught, get ready to be removed from office.

"There is no reason to be tired or achieve it in serving the community. If there are ASNs who dare to laugh at the community, immediately report to the regent," said Herdiat during the inauguration and oath-taking of 31 officials within the Ciamis Regency Government in the Ciamis Regional Secretariat Hall, Thursday, January 5.

Including the attitude of ASN, he said, it must be maintained, so that there are no officials or ASN within the Ciamis Regency Government who dare to scream at the community when providing services.

If it is reported that there are people who are bullied, said the regent, they will not hesitate to process it, and remove the ASN position as a form of the seriousness of local governments in providing public services.

He hopes that the ranks of ASN, especially officials who have been appointed, will be more focused, sincere, and better in providing services to the community.

"I want ladies and gentlemen to focus on serving the community well, I intend to work sincerely, God willing, that way we will work optimally," he said as quoted by Antara.

The Regent said that on that occasion there were three officials who were appointed and promoted to the sub-district head after previously becoming the sub-district secretary, the goal was to be more motivated at work.

In addition, said the Regent, to improve the performance and quality of management, in 2023 the Ciamis Regency Government will add one Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), namely the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda).

"According to existing regulations, today's government has added one OPD, namely the Regional Revenue Agency, this is to improve performance," said Herdiat Sunarya.
