KPK Only Provides Online Visits On Christmas Day, This Is The Schedule

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) provides a policy regarding online visits and receipt of goods for KPK detainees in connection with the 2020 Christmas Day.

"The KPK Detention Center provides policies related to 'online' visiting services and receipt of goods for detainees of the KPK Detention Center in connection with Christmas and Christmas 2020 holidays," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, 24 December.

He said that the online visit to coincide with Christmas 2020 was held on Friday, December 25 starting at 08.00-13.00 WIB.

"The visit to replace the joint Christmas leave on Thursday, December 24 will be carried out on Wednesday, December 30 starting at 09.00-12.00 WIB," Ali said.

Furthermore, Christmas worship activities will be held online at 07.00-08.00 WIB.

Furthermore, Ali explained to queue delivery of food boxes during holidays with Christmas and substitute for leave with substitutes for Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijriah starting at 08.00-12.00 WIB.

"The queue for delivery of food boxes on Christmas Day starts at 08.00-10.00 WIB," he said.

In addition, he continued, at the time of Christmas 2020 prisoners were also allowed to eat together with other prisoners on the condition that they still adhere to health protocols and this will be held from 10.15-13.00 WIB.

"For food delivery on Christmas Day 2020, each use box (small box) and two additional large boxes for each remand center, specifically for women detention, add one box," said Ali.

Especially for Christmas 2020, the filling of the box is only for food.

"The total number of detainees at the KPK Prison Branch is 70 with Christian prisoners (who celebrate Christmas) as many as 13 prisoners," he said.
