China Claims To Have The Fastest Cargo Train In The World

JAKARTA - China has a cargo train with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour with a carrying capacity of up to 110 metric tons.

Several Chinese media, Thursday, December 24th claimed the new train made by CRRC Tangshan Co Ltd was the fastest cargo train in the world.

A series of eight wagons can adapt to the environment because it can be operated under temperatures of -25 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.

Unlike other air and land transportation, the fast cargo train can reduce weather impacts such as heavy rain and strong winds with a range of up to 1,500 kilometers in five hours, said CRRC Tangshan.

The train is equipped with mahadata analysis, Beidou satellite navigation system, virtual data store, broadband and smart scales.

Each carriage has sliding doors 2.9 meters wide and is claimed to be the widest train door in the world.

A few days earlier, China also launched a new fast train series Fuxing with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour operating in the western region.

The latest Fuxing series is slower than the previous generation Fuxing, which has a maximum speed of 400 kilometers per hour and has been operating on the busy Beijing-Shanghai route for two years.
