Bharada E's Hug For His Father And Mother Before Being Examined As A Defendant At The South Jakarta District Court

JAKARTA - Bharada Richard totaling alias E will undergo examination as a defendant in the alleged murder case of Brigadier J. There was a moment of emotion before the trial began, the former aide to Ferdy Sambo had met and hugged his parents.

The moment of emotion began when Bharada E entered the courtroom and immediately sat in the examination chair.

Shortly thereafter, he was approached by his legal adviser, Ronny Talapessy. They seemed to be whispering for a while.

Then, Bharada E headed for the chair at the hearing. It turned out that there were his father, Junus Lumiu and his mother, Rynecke Alma Pudihang there.

Bharada E seemed to express his longing. He hugged tightly and kissed his parents' cheeks.

Until finally, Bharada E sat back in the examination chair. He is ready to be examined as a defendant in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J.

Meanwhile, the agenda for the examination of Bharada E as a defendant is contained in the Case Investigation Application System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court.

"The examination of the defendant," wrote SIPP, quoted by VOI, Thursday, January 5.

Still referring to SIPP, the trial is scheduled to open at 09.30 WIB.

Bharada E is one of five defendants in the murder case of Brigadier J. He was charged with participating in the murder.

Based on the indictment file, Bharada E shot Brigadier J using a Clock-17 firearm. The action was called on Ferdy Sambo's orders.

The shooting was carried out in the living room of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on July 8, 2022.

Thus, in this case Bharada E was charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. They face a maximum sentence of death, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.
