Random Check Antigen Test At KM 19 Tol Jakarta-Cikampek, 4 People Reactive To COVID-19

JAKARTA - The Traffic Police Corps held a random check rapid antigen test during the 2020 Candle Operation in order to secure the Christmas and New Year holidays. From the two days of implementation, hundreds of people were examined with the results of four being reactive.

Head of Traffic Police of the National Police, Inspector General Istiono, said that the four people who were declared reactive were questioned at the KM 19 rest area of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. On the first day or 23 December, three were declared reactive.

"Especially in the KM 19 rest area yesterday, 169 (checked randomly) 3 reactive," said Istiono to VOI, Thursday, December 24.

Meanwhile, based on data on December 24, starting at 10.45 WIB, a random check in the KM 19 rest area found one reactive person out of 168 people.

Istiono said that they were declared reactive and were advised not to continue their journey. In fact, they were all referred to the hospital for further medical examinations.

"Referred to the hospital. We also urge them to go home," he said.

Meanwhile, the 2020 Candle Operation and random check was carried out from December 21 to January 4, 2021. This was done to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
