Private Jets Used By Lukas Enembe Were Examined By The KPK Through The Boss Of This Company

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the use of private jets by Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This step was taken with the President Director of PT Rio De Gabriello or Round De Globe, Gibrael Issak.

"The person concerned was present as a summons some time ago," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, January 3.

Ali said Gibrael was questioned on Monday, January 2 yesterday. Investigators have investigated a number of things, including the alleged habit of Lukas using a private jet to travel.

"The witness' knowledge was explored regarding the use of private jet services for the needs of suspect LE," he explained.

As previously reported, Lukas Enembe has been named a suspect in alleged corruption by the KPK. However, he did not fulfill the investigator's summons because he claimed to be sick.

Furthermore, the KPK left for Jayapura on Thursday, November 3 to examine Lukas. The examination was carried out at his home.

At that time, the KPK team consisting of independent doctors and investigators were present led by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri. Arriving in Jayapura, Firli had a chance to talk with Lukas.

During the conversation, Firli asked about Lukas' condition and spoke for about 15 minutes. Even so, Lukas' examination did not last long because he was sick.

In investigating the case that ensnared Lukas, the KPK has summoned a number of witnesses. Most of them were asked by investigators about the purchase of various assets made by the Governor of Papua.
