BABEL - Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Bangka Belitung Islands Province (Babel) said that people can have their own official business entities by establishing an individual company. The business entity can only be established by one person.

However, on condition that it registers the minimum amount of capital and meets the criteria for Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK).

"Registration of individual companies is very easy and the cost is also very cheap," said Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Babel Islands Province, Harun Sulianto, in Pangkalpinang, Babel, Tuesday, January 3, as reported by Antara.

Harun said the convenience for business actors in building this business is in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation.

Head of the Legal and Human Rights Service Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Evaganni, explained that to register PT individuals, it is enough to pay a Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of only Rp50,000. Furthermore, UMK actors can already have their own PT or official business entities.

"The registration is done online. Registrants can also consult with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Babel, either coming directly to the regional office or by contacting Whatsapp, the registration fee is only IDR 50,000," he said.

Head of Legal and Human Rights Services, Adi Riyanto, said that the Individual Company has advantages, namely getting priority to access various government programs specifically for Micro and Small scale business actors.

"During 2022 PNBP from the General Legal Administration service of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Babel amounted to Rp1,560,050,000, an increase of 17 percent compared to 2021, only Rp1,334,550,000," he said.

Throughout 2022, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Babel Province is known to have served 251 individual company registrations.
