There Is An Odd Budget, Deputy Chairman Of DPRD Taufik: We Will Invite The Ministry Of Home Affairs

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, M. Taufik said that the odd budget of Rp. 580,135,824,007 is an allocation for the secretariat not for members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. This odd budget was discovered by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"Please separate, there are DPRD activities, there are voluntary activities (Council Secretariat). Not only the DPRD, it is not our business that was mentioned yesterday (Rp580 billion budget). It has nothing to do with DPRD members," said Taufik at the DKI DPRD Building. Jakarta, reported by Antara, Wednesday, December 23.

Furthermore, Taufik invited representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs to discuss the findings of the evaluation results known as the odd budget.

"I invite the DPRD to invite the Ministry of Home Affairs to discuss it. So that it does not appear to the public first," said Taufik.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria stated that there was a response from the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the DKI Jakarta DPRD's odd budget of IDR 580,135,824,007 which is still in the evaluation process.

According to the man who is familiarly called Ariza, currently the Ministry of Home Affairs is still checking the budget for 2021, including related to the budget belonging to the DKI Jakarta DPRD which is considered odd.

"Indeed, it is currently in the evaluation process at the Ministry of Home Affairs, not only in Jakarta but in all provinces and districts. Wait for the results of the evaluation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, later we will coordinate," said Ariza.

On Tuesday, December 22, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) said that it had found a number of irregularities in the 2021 DKI Jakarta Regional Budget Draft.

The Director of Regional Budget Planning at the Ministry of Home Affairs Bahri stated that the irregularities were found in the Annual Work Plan (RKT) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD members.

A number of irregularities were found, among them related to the procurement of complete civilian clothing, capital expenditure for audio equipment, capital expenditure for personal computers and capital expenditure for other computer equipment at the DPRD Secretariat.

"Inside is the contents of the computer model spending which is still chaotic and we have asked to fix it," said Bahri at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building.
