Update On COVID-19 As Of December 31: New Case 488, Sembuh 4,200

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 25,226 specimens were examined with the results of 1,877 new positive cases of COVID-19.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 3,516 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 309 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 92 recovered cases, South Sulawesi with an additional 60 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 113,906,941.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 3.53 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 1,877 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 204,026,564 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,771,880 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 68,537,551 and the fourth dose of vaccination was 1,169,962. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
