Moeldoko Gives Christmas And New Year's Cards For Students From Papua

Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko gave Christmas and New Year gifts to students from Papua in Semarang and Salatiga, Central Java.

The gift in the form of 400 kilograms of rice was given to students from Papua in three dormitories in the Semarang and Salatiga areas. Meoldoko said, on Christmas and New Year's Day, not all female students, especially from Papua, were able to go home because of the consideration of costs or were carrying out study assignments.

He also hopes that the gifts given can provide joy in celebrating Christmas and the new year 2023. "Hopefully it will be useful. I also wish you a happy Christmas and New Year 2023," said Moeldoko during a video call with a student representative from Papua in Semarang, Saturday, December 31.

Engel, a student from Papua in Semarang, admitted that the gift given by the Presidential Chief of Staff, Dr. Moeldoko, was very beneficial for students, especially those who did not go home and had to celebrate Christmas in overseas.

"Obviously this adds to the joy of us students from Papua who celebrate Christmas and New Year here (Semarang)," said Engel when contacted by the media team of the Presidential Staff Office by telephone.

The same thing was also expressed by Alex and his colleagues from the Papua Dormitory, Wisma Merpati Salatiga. "We are very happy to receive assistance from Pak Moeldoko and pray for him to always be healthy," he said.
