Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini or Risma said that her party received approval from the Ministry of Finance to register people with mental disabilities as participants in BPJS Health Contribution Assistance (PBI) recipients. "Yesterday, when I met the Minister of Finance at the Palace, I said that according to the RPJMN, the target for PBI was still lacking, I proposed what if the rest was for disabilities, especially for ODGJ, we prioritized it. So, the Minister of Finance agreed," said Social Minister Risma when met in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, December 30. Social Minister Risma said that her party had included the names of tens of thousands of people with disabilities throughout Indonesia to the Ministry of Health. Then BPJS-PBI will adjust to the treatment coverage. In addition, Social Minister Risma said data on people with disabilities in need would enter the integrated social welfare data (DTKS). However, he said, services for them do not stop there, and will develop in the future. From the Ministry of Social Affairs, his party has approved who will receive BPJS-PBI, and submitted it to the Ministry of Health. The plan is that the implementation of the service for persons with disabilities will take effect in mid-January 2023.
