Jokowi's Code Call FX Rudy To The Palace, Will The Reshuffle Be Done Next MONTH?

JAKARTA - The meeting of the Chairperson of the Solo City PDIP DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the State Palace is considered a code for a cabinet reshuffle in the near future. Executive Director of Indonesian Political Parameters (PPI) Adi Prayitno, predicts that Jokowi will re-shaking the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at the beginning of next year. Because according to Adi, anyone who is invited to the palace, especially in the midst of the reshuffle issue, must be associated with a cabinet reshuffle. "This is a kind of code, that later anyone who is invited to the palace in the near future, (especially) in the midst of the reshuffle issue, will definitely be associated with the reshuffle that keeps blowing," Adi said in Jakarta, Thursday, December 29. Adi assessed that the arrival of FX Rudy to the palace confirmed the signal that a cabinet reshuffle would occur next month. Moreover, Jokowi has stated that it opens up the possibility of changing his minister. "For me, the arrival of FX Rudy to the palace confirms the issue that the reshuffle will soon be carried out by Jokowi, maybe next month," Adi said. Adi added that Rudy's presence at the palace would not have happened if Jokowi did not summon the PDIP cadre. He also believes that Rudy is one of the ministerial candidates who will enter the cabinet of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin government. "The presence of FX Rudy to the palace must be delegated to emphasize that there will be a reshuffle in the near future. And, it is very possible that Mr. Rudy will be nominated as a ministerial candidate," concluded Adi. Meanwhile, FX Hadi Rudyatmo denied his meeting with President Jokowi at the State Palace on Monday afternoon, December 26, discussing politics or plans for a cabinet reshuffle. Rudy admitted that he was not specifically summoned by Jokowi to the Palace. He revealed that he went to Jakarta because he had work to do. "I wasn't called (Jokowi, ed), I just stopped by. When I went to Jakarta, I was told to stop by. Yo, stop by to yo. There at 5 pm, there was no discussion (reshuffle)," explained Rudy, Wednesday, December 27. Rudy also emphasized that the meeting did not discuss politics at all, especially regarding the reshuffle. "There is no political issue. Murni talked about her family. Pak Jokowi told about her experience of downloading Mantu yesterday. That's all," he said.
