The police arrested a husband and wife who were suspected of stealing cellphones and Rp120,637,000 in cash. The two perpetrators had the initials MI(36) and NH (24). Mampang Prapatan police chief, Kompol Mashuri said the incident occurred on Jalan Mampang Prapatan II, South Jakarta, Friday, December 9.

"Yes, that's right, the husband and wife have arrested 2 people in the alleged case article 362," said Mashuri in a short message, Thursday, December 29.

Mashuri explained that the incident began when MI perpetrators found a mobile phone unit in which there was the BRI Mobile M Banking application. Next try to open the application by forgetting the password.

"After succeeding) the perpetrator then transferred from the victim's cellphone to the account number NH (his wife) amounting to 120,637,000," said Mashuri.

The victim, who knew he had lost money, immediately reported the incident to the Mampang Police.

The police who received the report immediately investigated until finally they managed to arrest the perpetrator on Jalan Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 27, at 23.55 WIB.

"Furthermore, the suspect was secured along with evidence and taken to the Mampang Police for further questioning," he concluded.
