DENPASAR - A tourist from Mojokerto, East Java slipped and fell on the steps of the cliffs of Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida Bali. The victim named Andre Sibolga was evacuated by the Bali Basarnas team.

"Information we received around 10:35 WITA, that there was 1 person who fell from the cliff of Kelingking," said Head of Basarnas Bali Office, Gede Darmada in a statement from Basarnas Bali, Tuesday, December 22.

Kelingking Beach Nusa Penida is indeed famous for its beauty. However, the road access to these attractions is quite steep. Visitors must climb stairs until they reach the shoreline, which reaches about 300 meters.

Andre Sibolga was evacuated at around 13.40 WITA dead. The joint SAR team agreed to evacuate the body by sea using a fishing boat.

"If carrying the victim by land is less effective, as in previous experiences, the joint SAR team evacuating the body by boat is taken to Crystal Bay, Nusa Penida, then to Pratama Hospital," said Gede Darmada.
