Mesranya Gibran With The UAE, Solo City Assisted Over To Eradicate Poverty

JAKARTA - The Surakarta City Government will cooperate with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government for the poverty alleviation program.

"One of them is about poverty, the target of eliminating 100 percent is accelerated with assistance (from the UAE Government)," said Gibran, Thursday, December 22, as reported by Antara.

Gibran said, without assistance from the Government of the United Arab Emirates, it is estimated that poverty alleviation can be completed around 2025-2026. Meanwhile, with the assistance from the UAE, it is hoped that the program can be completed in the next two years.

"Just try it, it's finished," he said.

Gibran ensured that the program had nothing to do with the central government, but was only limited to the Surakarta City Government and the UAE Government.

Meanwhile, related to poverty alleviation, one thing that is done by the government is to provide livable houses for the poor.

"Yesterday, we received the assistance of 1,000 housing units as well. This is accelerated again, the private CSR continues," he said.

Meanwhile, in the future, his party will travel to the UAE and will make a presentation regarding the local government program. He said the need was a follow-up to the discussions that had existed some time ago with the President of the United Arab Emirates (PEA) Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ).

"Later there will be assistance from him-beliau. For that, those who are stalled. At the end of the year I will finish it. For those whose funds are lacking, I will find them first," he said.
